It all comes down to this. Jesus will be fully and finally rejected by the self-righteous religious elites, the self-serving political leaders, and the self-assured population of God’s own people. He will even be abandoned in the key moments by his confused and cowardly friends and followers. But when we read John 18-21 over these Sundays around Easter, we’re going to see Jesus in complete control of everything that happens to him, intently submitting to the murderous schemes of those who will execute him. It all comes down to this, and when we reach Easter Sunday and John 20, we’ll see exactly why. Join us Sundays at 11am from 27th March.
