New sermon series

Over the Sunday mornings of October and November we’re going to open up the strange Old Testament book of Zechariah. This messenger from God brought hope in hard times for God’s people. But it wasn’t a vague ‘hope-for-the-best kind’ of hope, but a hope based on the character, plans and promises of God, and especially on God’s promised king. Even though this book comes hundreds of years before Jesus, we’ll find lots of signposts to him, because he’s the one in whom all of God’s plans and promises are fulfilled. This book will challenge us to hope in the character, plans and promises of God too, no matter how hard things may get, looking to Jesus, God’s promised king.
